The Legacy Lives On......
Mr. Danny Boggs has labored forty-five years to revolutionize the woodworking industry. He began working for Diehl in 1959 as the company pilot and soon became service manager. During this period he traveled to China, Germany, Mexico and South America. He left Diehl in 1982 to work for Wienig, the leader in the Moulder industry. His experience and reputation assisted Wienig establishing themselves in the United States marketplace. He retired in 1997 and moved back to his childhood home in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky.
The following year Danny founded Danbo Enterprises and used his experience to design and build quality parts to rebuild straight-line ripsaws. With Danny's noble reputation, Danbo grew at a rapid pace and became widely known for their commitment to quality parts and service, a legacy that remains today.
On June 10, 2005, Danbo Enterprises, woodworking machinery business was purchased by Jonathon Uzzle and Mark Pape. These two gentlemen had serviced Danbo for several years, furnishing fabricated and machine parts. Mark operates a hi-tech machining facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Jonathon spent several years in the woodworking industry as well as working as vice president of a NASCAR transporter manufacturing company. The new owners of Danbo are proud to continue the Legacy started by Mr. Danny Boggs.
